We believe that God has endowed every child with special talents and gifts for the use of Ministry. Your mentorship will ensure that your gifts are developed and utilized in a service for God.


We clearly communicate the gospel to the lost and feed His sheep through the preaching of the Word of God. This is a close-knit family dedicated to helping you study the Word of God, grow intimately, serve faithfully, and discover your purpose in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Meet Pastor Roger Kwarteng

Pastor Roger Kwarteng is the founding and senior Pastor of Gethsemane Ministries International.


Born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, Pastor Roger and his family moved to Bowie Maryland where he completed his High School and College careers. He pursued a degree in Business Administration at the University of Maryland and later extended his studies in Computer Science, ultimately becoming a Software Engineer.

 


Pastor Roger Kwarteng is the founding and senior Pastor of Gethsemane Ministries International.


Born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, Pastor Roger and his family moved to Bowie Maryland where he completed his High School and College careers. He pursued a degree in Business Administration at the University of Maryland and later extended his studies in Computer Science, ultimately becoming a Software Engineer.

 

In his early ministry journey, Pastor Roger's calling led him to serve and be mentored under the leadership of Prophet Peprah, who served as the resident pastor of Fire Prayer Ministry in Northern Virginia. He also gained experience by serving at Champions Chapel Maryland under the guidance of Prophet Kwame Agyekum. Pastor Roger was ordained by His Excellency Archbishop Samuel Addai in November 2014 during a ceremony held at Fire Prayer Ministry.


Shortly after becoming an ordained Pastor in the State of Virginia, He received the call to move to the State of Georgia, and through much prayer and fasting for direction, the Lord led him to plant a church in Columbus, Georgia. Since it began in 2016, Gethsemane Ministries has grown to build and nurture many people not only in Georgia but all over the world in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Pastor Roger his wife First Lady Elizabeth Kwarteng have three daughters and reside in Columbus, Georgia where the church is located.


By the Grace of God, the church is experiencing growth and expansion, all to the glory of God.
