Welcome!
We’re glad you could join us.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Looking for a church home?
Too often we become concerned with finding the perfect church when in fact what we should be looking for is an assembly honors God’s truths as expressed in the Bible. With Christ at the head, we are to ekklesia which simply means “to
gather or assemble” as members of His body. “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it”
(1 Corinthians 12:27). The church is also called “the people of God”
(Hebrews 4:9; 1 Peter 2:10, Ephesians 4:15; 5:23).
-
The church has many purposes some of which are:
To evangelize the Good News of Jesus Christ and what he has done for mankind. (Matthew 28:19)
To edify—meaning to build up, equip, improve, encourage, or support the people of God through careful and sound teaching of the Word of God. Gathering together with other believers edifies us individually and also collectively as a body.
To Worship—to express an excellent worship to our Father not just through music but with a pure heart filled with humility and gratitude. Worship should not resemble entertainment. Our posture in worship is most important.

This is beautifully captured in 1 Chronicles 16:23-31
23. Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.
24. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
25. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
26. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens.
27. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.
28. Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
29. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.
30. Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
31. Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”
