At Gethsemane Ministries International in Columbus, Georgia, we are blessed to celebrate the strength, character, and spiritual leadership of men in our congregation this International Men’s Day . Honouring Godly Manhood International Men’s Day is a meaningful reminder of the role men play in their families, the Church, and the broader community. As believers, we see godly manhood exemplified in men who lead with humility, walk in faith, serve with love, and model Christ-like strength. Biblical Foundations Throughout Scripture, men are called to lead, serve, love, and protect. At Gethsemane Ministries, we encourage men to live out their calling—not through worldly power, but through spiritual integrity, prayer, stewardship, and sacrificial love. Our mission is to equip men to be spiritual fathers, mentors, and servants in the Kingdom of God. Building Spiritual Brotherhood A vital part of our ministry is fostering brotherhood —spaces where men can grow together, support each other, and be strengthened in faith. On International Men’s Day, we will highlight testimonies from male members, invite guest speakers, and encourage deeper mentoring relationships within the church. By doing so, we create opportunities for accountability, spiritual growth, and genuine community. Serving Beyond the Pulpit Our men don’t only serve in church services. They volunteer in outreach programs, youth mentoring, community service, and prayer initiatives. This day is a chance to celebrate their contributions and encourage more men to take active roles in church ministry. Prayer Focus We will dedicate a special prayer during our service to uplift men in our congregation and beyond: for strength in their families, wisdom in their decisions, healing where there is pain, and courage to lead in faith. We believe that prayer changes lives and that God has mighty plans for each man in our fellowship. Encouraging Purpose-Driven Lives God’s purpose is not just for Sunday attendance—it affects every area of life. International Men’s Day is a call for men to reflect on their God-given destiny: as fathers, husbands, business leaders, community members, and servants of Christ. We encourage our men to step into their calling with boldness, prayer, and purpose.
